Meet Our Eye Doctor in Chandler, Arizona

Arizona Eye Institute provides innovative eye care services to patients from in and around Chandler. We offer comprehensive eye health assessments, ocular disease diagnosis and treatment, contact lens evaluation and fitting, and prescriptions.

We welcome new patients and accept most major forms of insurance.

Dr. Melodie Nannenga

Dr. Melodie Nannenga was born and raised in Jamestown, North Dakota. She did her undergraduate work at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, where she also competed for the school's NCAA Division 1 Track and Field team as a pole vaulter. During her four years at the University of Minnesota, Dr. Nannenga was awarded the prestigious Patty Berg award given to athletes with outstanding scholastic achievement. She then went on to complete her Doctor of Optometry degree at Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, graduating with honors

After finishing her internship at the renowned Ft. Lauderdale Eye Institute, Dr. Nannenga relocated to sunny Arizona. She currently has been living and practicing in the Southeast Valley of Phoenix for over 15 years. In addition to prescribing glasses and contact lenses, Dr. Nannenga can also diagnose and treat medical conditions of the eye. In her free time, Dr. Nannenga enjoys spending time with her husband and six children.
